A Look at Cambridge

A data analysis of the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I (used to) live in Cambridge, have an interest in local government, and wanted to learn more about how to use data science techniques.

A lot of the findings are pretty intuitive. This might appear to be obvious and a failure to find out more but I found it encouraging and interesting that our intuition can be so effective.
On the opposite side, I also found it to be encouraging that we now have the data available to make cities predictable.
This is an area to watch. Lots of innovative things are starting to happen here and the more data that’s collected, the more predictable life in a city will become.
